On February 24th and 25th, Professor Amanda Ullman (Co-chair CIRCAN) represented CIRCAN as an invited guest speaker at the
Paediatric Inpatient Research Network (PIRN) Strategic Retreat and ACT Trial Workshop, held in Toronto, Canada.
The event brought together leading researchers, clinicians, and patient partners from across the globe to discuss PIRN’s strategic priorities, network growth, and future directions for paediatric
inpatient research. Prof. Ullman contributed to these efforts by sharing CIRCAN experience in leading clinical trials and collaborative networks..
Her keynote presentation emphasised innovations and lessons learned from multisite trial implementation in Australia and New Zealand, providing insights into infrastructure development, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability planning. This engagement reinforces CIRCAN’s commitment to international collaboration and to advancing rigorous, patient-centred research in paediatric inpatient care.
